On April 23, President Denis Sassou-N'Guesso inaugurated a center of excellence in Oyo dedicated to research on renewable energy. This project was made possible thanks to a partnership with the Eni group. The Oyo Center of Excellence (CEO) is also supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
