On 4 September, Chinese President Xi Jinping and the President of the Republic jointly announced the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two nations.
The announcement was made during the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Sino-Japanese War and the Second World War.
On this occasion, the President was able to emphasise the importance of strengthening ties between the Republic of Congo and China, which will open up new avenues for cooperation, economic dynamism and prosperity.
