President Diomaye Faye on an official visit to Brazzaville

The Senegalese President was in Brazzaville for a two-day visit on 2 and 3 February 2026.

Upon his arrival, the Head of State was welcomed with military honors by His Excellency Denis Sassou N'Guesso, in the presence of senior civil and military authorities.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen long-standing bilateral relations while opening up new areas of economic and security cooperation.
It was also an opportunity for the two presidents to emphasize the friendship and brotherhood that unite them through a convergence of shared visions and history.
