Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

The diplomats received by the President of the Republic were His Excellency Hamzatou Abdoul Thiam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and His Excellency Roger Bokwala Bompolonga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In accordance with established diplomatic practice, the presentation of Letters of Credence formally accredits the two ambassadors and authorizes them to fully discharge their official duties with the institutions of the Republic of the Congo.

During their respective mandates, they will work to promote and deepen bilateral cooperation, strengthen political dialogue, expand economic, commercial, and cultural exchanges, and further consolidate the longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation between their respective States and the Republic of the Congo.

This dual accreditation takes place at a time when the Republic of the Congo continues to pursue an active diplomatic agenda aimed at reinforcing its relations with fellow African nations, in keeping with its commitment to regional solidarity, African integration, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
