The President was in Russia from June 24 to 26, 2024 for a state visit. He was received by his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The two leaders met to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brazzaville and Moscow. The aim of the visit was to strengthen ties between the two countries, particularly on the economic front.
