A New School Serving Congolese Youth.
On Friday, October 9, President Denis Sassou-N’Guesso cut the symbolic ribbon, marking the inauguration of the Angola Libre complex in Makélékélé, before unveiling the commemorative plaque and planting an iconic fruit tree symbolizing growth, life, and sustainability: the safou tree.
A new chapter in history has begun for the Angola Libre Secondary School. The old school has given way to a state-of-the-art educational complex spanning approximately 40,000 m², comprising an elementary school, a middle school, and a high school offering a general education curriculum.
This large-scale project was entirely funded by the Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy.
