Four-day working visit to Pointe-Noire

The President of the Republic, Denis Sassou N'Guesso, accompanied by his wife, arrived in Pointe-Noire in the late afternoon of 6 February for a working visit.

The brand-new candidate for the presidential election on 15 March 2026 was greeted as he stepped off the plane by a huge crowd lining the route to his residence.
The program began on the morning of 7 February with the official launch of the loading of the first Nguya FLNG cargo by ENI Congo.
